Monthly Open Pagan Community Circles

I am very excited to announce a series of open Pagan community circles to be held monthly, generally on the first Sunday evening of the month (there are some exceptions) in Portland, Maine.

The intent is to provide a space for members of the Pagan community to come together to celebrate and create connection. The circle is open to all Pagan traditions.  Ritual focus of the circle will be different each month but likely tied to some aspect of the season in which it falls.

Information on the first circle is below.

Date:   October 1, 2017 - 7:30-9:30PM

Place:  Portland New Church, 302 Stevens Avenue, Portland, ME

October Circle:  The Hearth

The first of new monthly open pagan community circles in Portland, Maine this circle will be a celebration of the hearth.  The hearth is the place we gather around to celebrate, to share and to join in community.  At this rite we will consecrate our community hearth and light a communal flame.

Guests are invited to bring a item that symbolizes community or the hearth to place on the altar. People are also welcome to bring a snack to share for the post-circle community time.

7:30 - 8:00:  Arrival and introductions
8:00 - 8:30-ish:  Circle
8:30 - 9:30:   Commuity/socializing time

This event is free but donations to cover costs, such as space rental, are welcome.  The venue is mobility accessible.
