November 12th - Open Circle - Ancestors
Date: November 12, 7:30PM
Location: Portland New Church, 302 Stevens Avenue, Portland, Maine
These open circles are held monthly, generally on the first Sunday evening of the month (there are some exceptions - November is one of them). The intent is to provide a space for members of the Pagan community to come together to celebrate and create connection.
The circle ritual focus will be different each month.
November Circle: Ancestors
With Samhain behind us we have entered the dark time of the year. In some traditions this is the time of the ancestors; a time to listen to their stories and learn from their wisdom.
Guests are welcome to bring a representation of their ancestors to the place on the altar. Folks are also welcome to bring a snack to share for the post-circle community time.
Schedule:
7:30 - 8:00: Arrival and introductions
8:00 - 8:30-ish: Circle
8:30 - 9:30: Commuity/socializing time
This event is free but donations to cover costs, such as space rental, are welcome. The venue is mobility accessible.
